Romance, Reads & Wine - Fantasy Lover and Golden

It's that time again--our little midweek holiday. Happy Wine Wednesday everyone! I decided to use another of my favorite, go-to author's books this week. Paranormal Romance author, Sherrilyn Kenyon's, Fantasy Lover and Golden Chardonnay make a lovely pair, I think. This is just another case of a, 'damn... they look good together!', wine / book pairing.

Fantasy Lover is the first book in Kenyon's famed Dark-Hunter Series. It's where the whole world of Daimons and the badasses that hunt them began. I love this series, in case you couldn't tell.  It's a great one to read over and over... and um, over again (if you're me). And that Julian of Macedon - whoa - Spartan Warrior turned love-slave that walks right off  the pages of an enchanted book to fulfill fantasies... I mean, what more could you ask for? Literally, the perfect book boyfriend!

If you've never read a Dark Hunter book and you like supernatural story worlds for your romance reads, then be sure to pick up a copy, pour yourself a glass of Golden Chard and stay up late tonight with your very own Fantasy Lover.

Dear Reader,

Being trapped in a bedroom with a woman is a grand thing. Being trapped in hundreds of bedrooms over two thousand years isn't. And being cursed into a book as a love-slave for eternity can ruin even a Spartan warrior's day.
As a love-slave, I know everything about women. How to touch them, how to savor them, and most of all, how to pleasure them. But when I was summoned to fulfill Grace Alexander's sexual fantasies, I found the first woman in history who saw me as a man with a tormented past. She alone bothered to take me out of the bedroom and onto the world. She taught me to love again.
But I was not born to love. I was cursed to walk eternity alone. As a general, I had long ago accepted my sentence. Yet now I have found Grace--the one thing my wounded heart cannot survive without. Sure, love can heal all wounds, but can it break a two-thousand-year-old curse?

Julian of Macedon
