Nine years ago, Faerie Magic saved Mairi MacKiernan at the cost of her dreams of happiness, snatching her from her life in 1272, and depositing her in the twenty-first century. Now, she must save the last Daughter of the MacKiernan family...who was murdered in 1295. Transported back in time at her request, Mairi finds herself captured by the same evil men as before! Is this the price the Faerie Magic requires of her this time?

Ramos Servans has dedicated his dreams to service as a Guardian, but when he discovers the evil unleashed on the Mortal Plain by his father and their people, he swears he will atone by ridding the world of Nuadian deceit. Part of his mission involves rescuing a lovely Highland lassie, and in the passion that grows between them, Ramos and Mairi find a new dream.

But falling in love can be dangerous when Faerie Magic is involved. Dreams may not be the only cost....

From my Review:

This is my first read from this series and this author and now I want to read the rest. I loved Ramos and thought Mairi was a very cute character. The intrigue kept me reading and the romance was sweet.

Who loves a steamy reverse age gap romance with a sexy as sin surfer? Who doesn't? Come meet Josh, your next book boyfriend.

“Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.”
Thank you, John Lennon. You certainly have me pegged.
I had a plan for my life and it did not include walking in on my boyfriend schtupping his secretary.
What’s a girl to do? If you’re saying to relocate across the country, ding-ding-ding—we have a winner.
My new plan was no plan at all. Just work and fun in the San Diego sun. I wasn’t  looking for love but it found me, regardless—in the form of a gorgeous, golden surfer.
The only issue? He’s thirteen years younger. Oh, and his friends hate me.
And, because the universe has a warped sense of humor, my ex just transferred to my San Diego hospital, gunning for a second chance after his illicit tryst went south.
So many choices, so little time. Do I follow my heart and veer into unknown territory or return to the path I’ve always known?

From my review:

M.L. Broome's Alchemy Unfolding is a sweet, steamy, age-gap romance. I haven’t read very many age-gap romances, but this one drew me in right from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. Broome’s writing is excellent and Addy’s inner monologue had me chuckling more than once. Her character has quite a few confidence issues that cause obstacles for her and Josh, along with other outside influences that test their relationship, in the form of nasty exes and jealous friends. It was kind of a roller coaster ride, but that just made the hea all the more satisfying. Can’t wait to read more from this author. Would recommend to contemporary romance readers.

Stephanie Costas has always had a passion for humanity. As a digital forensics examiner, she fights bad guys from the technical front. When a closed cold case is dug up, she finds herself becoming consumed to set things right. No amount of eighties music or repeated viewings of her favorite movie Dirty Dancing were enough to distract her. She needed a vacation in the worst of ways.

When she set foot in the gorgeous tropical resort in Greece, she had no idea she'd meet a man claiming to be Hades, god of the Underworld. And she certainly had no idea that he was telling the truth. Her Greek vacation was about to become very...interactive.

A Hades/Persephone re-imagining.

**The Contemporary Mythos series will feature a different Greek god in each book re-exploring their myths and combining contemporary romance tropes. Though they will all stand alone, the stories will also intersect for those that read them all.**

From my review:

This was such a cute twist on the Hades of Greek myth. I really enjoyed what Spade did in her re-imagining of the god of the Underworld. Stephanie was an adorable character and it was fun watching her work her way into the gruff god’s heart. Would recommend to paranormal romance readers who enjoy mythology stories.

**Be sure to check out my new Of Myths & Monsters section here on the website for fun mythology facts and to see how I've used mythology and folklore in my books.
